Hello! My name is Christy Peterson. I'm a photographer in Southeast Idaho, servicing areas like Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Rigby and beyond. 

I grew up in Ammon, Idaho, then married and moved to the Kitsap Peninsula in the Puget Sound area of Washington State.  I recently moved back to Southeast Idaho and love being back by family, but miss the incredible lush green flora, sparkling salt water of the Pacific NW. I am grateful to still be surrounded by mountains!

I have always loved photography. I love taking pictures, admiring the work of others, and imagining the view before me as a photograph.

My first camera was a 110 Camera from the olden days of film. I'm still geeking out about my new mirrorless Canon R5 and it's cool features. 

I love to read and listen to stories, both fiction and non-fiction. I love health and nutrition, education and working on my family tree. I'm a wannabe gardener, wannabe rancher (I even have a name picked out for my dream ranch) and a wannabe equestrian. We are the proud new owners to two beautiful horses and more than excited to begin our horsemanship journey. 

My favorite way to relax is to listen to an audio book, sip herbal tea and eat chocolate, while working on photoshop or my family tree.
